From August 2019, Outlook Ecotherapy will be offering Equine and Nature-based Clinical Psychology, Equine-Assisted Learning Groups, and Individual Personal and Professional Development.
Equine & Nature-based Clinical Psychology
Individual and family Equine and Nature-based Clinical Psychology is available at our property for school-aged children and adolescents facing emotional, behavioural, relational and social difficulties. Young persons may attend appointments as private clients and/or on a GP Mental Health Care Plans.
Equine Assisted Learning Groups
Our ‘Skills For Life’ Equine Assisted Learning program is available to groups of four to six participants. The program focuses on the development of awareness and mindfulness, boundaries, self-regulation and resilience.
Equine Assisted Personal & Professional Development
Our individual development sessions are a unique, exciting and experiential way of learning to connect with yourself, others and the changing environment; to develop life skills; understand patterns no-longer serving you well; and strengthen existing talents, with horses! Horses challenge and support people to explore, experiment and experience, which promotes greater calm, creativity, inner and outer resourcing, and confidence to live with purpose and lead others.
Anna is an Equine Assisted Psychotherapist and Clinical Psychologist, and holds membership with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian Equine Psychotherapy Institute (EPI). Prior to establishing Outlook Ecotherapy, Anna has worked in public mental health, private practice, foreign aid, and in the not-for-profit sector.
Anna is passionate about helping children, adolescents and families impacted by emotional, behavioural and interpersonal challenges, and supporting adults to reach their potential with personal and professional development. Anna loves to add creative and nature-based activities to her evidence-based practice and empower her clients and colleagues.
