Equine Sessions for All - The Outlook Riding Academy
At The Outlook Riding Academy, we provide equine sessions tailored to individuals of all abilities, focusing on personal growth, confidence-building, and community engagement. Our team consists of experienced equine instructors, and our sessions support participants in developing key skills in a safe, inclusive environment.
Each session is tailored to meet the participant's goals and abilities, whether it’s groundwork, coordination, mobility, emotional regulation, motor skills, or social connection. Horses can sense emotions and provide nonverbal feedback, helping individuals build trust, improve communication, and develop mindfulness.
Whether clients are seeking social connection, stress relief, skill development, or simply time in nature, our team and horses provide a supportive, inclusive environment that meets them where they are. No prior horse experience is needed, and sessions are tailored for individuals or groups.
Connection, Growth & Healing in Nature
We are dedicated to helping our community through nature-based equine sessions. We provide an inclusive space where individuals can develop life skills, build confidence, and experience the profound benefits of equine-assisted activities. Depending on individual plans, some participants may have access to Increased Social and Community Participation. We welcome inquiries from schools, clinics, families, and local organisations looking to support children, teens, or adults.
Our Services
Adventure Paddock & Paddock Movement: Nature-based sessions incorporating horse interaction, mindfulness, reflection, and connection. These sessions are ideal for individuals or groups looking for grounding in a natural environment.
Liberty Horse Connection: Interactive sessions where horses move freely without leads. This approach helps build mutual trust, presence, and essential non-verbal communication skills.
Ride to Reset: Individual riding sessions that build rhythm, balance, focus, and confidence through gentle instruction. Sessions include grooming and touch to soothe the nervous system and support emotional regulation.
Equine Social Circles: Small group programs designed to promote communication, teamwork, and social participation in a supportive, outdoor setting.
Benefits of Equine Sessions
